A year ago I took my 1995 Ford Probe to the East Point Ga AAMCO due to the BLUE overdrive light was flashing. I did not experience at the time any transmission problems but the owner manual said that the flashing blue light was an error in the transmission so that is why I took it to AAMCO. They rebuilt my transmission for over $1900 bucks on August 12th 1999. In Dec of 1999 the blue light came on again. Since I have the 12 month warranty, I took it back to AAMCO in Marietta GA. They told me that the bottom of my car was covered in Transmission fluid and they rebuilt my transmission again. Less then a couple of weeks in January 2000 the Blue light came on again. I called Marietta AAMCO and they suggested I take it back to the office where the work was first done. To make a long story short, I have taken my car back to AAMCO close to 20 times in less then a year and my transmission has been rebuilt 4 times along with other parts I paid for that did not fix the problem. The kicker is I never got a rental, I got the owners Mazda with no horn and flashing oil light for 3 day. When i got my car back, I was told it was 99% sure it was fixed. I drove 3 hours to Alabama, my transmission died, I was stranded and I am left with a $739.00 rental bill. I cannot get home office to respond to me, I have tried the media and I am at a loss. I feel I am due ALL my money back for all the pain and suffering I have been through, the wages I lost from no way to work, for having my car in Alabama for 2 weeks at the AAMCO in Huntsville and having a rental car on Memorial day in which I had to go all the way to the airport to obtain. I am a single mother who has not had a car much in almost a year now and no one seems to want to help me. I have put in over 2500 bucks in my car now and I am not sure if it is fixed yet. I just got it back from Huntsville AAMCO and awaiting my blue light special.
