My transmission wasn't going into gear on my (Explorer) at the time, so I changed the fluid and pan gasket myself and still wouldn't go into gear unless I punched it, so i took it to AAMCO and they said 3rd gear needed to be replaced, said that they had found metal bits in the pan, so I knew they were lying, yett let them ramble on as they ghave me a $1500 estimate, took it to a backyard mechanic someone had recomended and they fixed a simple vaccuum leak on it for $20. I took it back and threatened to get channel & on it if they didnt return the $40 they took to check it out... they returned it.

I have looked into this matter and found that it took place about 7 years ago. It is hard to get to the bottom of an issue that old. I can only say this type of thing is not what we want and the facts I cannot comment on since the people involved ARE NOT AROUND NOW. I will say that this business has been in my family since 1968. we have 20 years with less than 5 bonified cunsumer complaints. That is not easy in my business. For the past 10 yeasr we have 0 BBB complaints and 1 resolved issue with our states attorney generals office wich was a comunication issue. We have 5 strait years of receiving AAMCOs Superlative customer relations award. I take this stuff very very seriuosly but i am only half of a business transaction. Who is out there to protect me against a consumer who may not be on the up and up. Ther are always two side to each issue. My recomendation is if you are worried about my business come in and meet me. look me in the eye and decide for yourself if you want to do business with me. Judge for yourself in all business relations and be weary of anything including this rebuttel on the internet as it is backed up by nothing. I do not know if this person was wronged at my shop but if they was I sincerely appologies to them. Whem people make mistakes what they do about it is what is important. All I can do is stand on my record and hope the best in the future to this consumer. Why she still has such rage after 7 years enforces to me the importance of a happy customer over an unhappy one. Thank You

This location has a rep for telephone hang ups and not being real straight up in the beginning when you're dealing with the owner - go figure.

I remember seven years ago and I'm pretty darn sure this same owner was active.

Small world - I bet she was mad, yep.
