Alignment Masters Great bait and which - phone estimate not valid! Dishonest and Unethical! Littleton Colorado

Fair and honest is all I want – not bait and switch and not our fault you didn't get is all in writing even though we said it.

1) Did not honor phone quote for exact vehicle
2) Added $10 shop fee to invoice – above the phone quote
3) Very bad customer service

a) Coupon was not presented so quote was invalid (even though card doesn't say coupon on it.)

b) They miss-quoted exact vehicle alignment cost on the phone quote and on 2 phone conversation after

c) Customer is wrong even though they quoted and miss-quoted for this exact vehicle.

d) The owner said he “never adds shop fee to quotes”

I believe this company has a deal with local Discount Tire CO so we were (supposedly) quote the referral/discount rate. When we made the appointment (5 minutes later) the person on the phone knew we were the ones they just quoted to the Discount tire representative because we told her.

They claim a front end alignemt is what we were quote – for this exact vehicle. But this vehicle requires a 4 wheel alignment. The owner told me – yes you were quoted a front end alignment but this car needs a 4 wheel alignment. I asked then why was I quoted a 2 wheel alignment – he stammered and didn't answer the question and changed the subject.

All I was looking for was a simple

- Sorry sir, the front desk didn't see the coupon so they charged the standard rate and here is your $15.00 . Oh yes – you are correct the card doesn't say coupon or this card is required and yes our desk worker should have quoted you properly for this vehicle – but we honor our quotes.

All I got from the counter staff was - no coupon no discount and no offer to make it right.

All I got from the owner was – Yes we quote a 2 wheel alignment and your vehicle need a 4 wheel alignment. I never include the shop fees in a quote. The best part – No offer to make it right – just a come on down to the office and we can talk about this face to face. I went down 2 hrs later and he was out.

Form my perspective – we were quote an amount for a specific vehicle – the owner, desk worker and I knew it needed a 4 wheel alignment. The quote dealt with a referral discount – the tire place called them gave exact description of vehicle and got the quote – we called back and identified our selves when setting up the appointment. The discount should have applied. The card doesn't say coupon or card required and the person at the tire company said it wasn't a required.

With all these discontinuities me, (The Customer) is Wrong. This company is dishonest and unethical for only $15, what if it was $1,000.00?

I've had other companies try to slip in “Shop” fees – which they took out because they didn't quote them. I've been miss-quoted to but the quote was honored because they made the mistake – and also got my return business.
