I brought my vehicle to Automotive Diagnostic Center for help in diagnosing a problem, the engine was stumbling and sagging during acceleration. I explained that I had recently replaced the head gaskets and reconditioned the heads. I further stated that their were some initial problems with the electronic ignition. Which I believed had been solved; in fact I stated the car had since ran like a top for 70 miles and then the problem of stumbling and sagging had started. I further explained that I had removed the fuel filter and found that it was completely clogged; I then replaced the fuel filter and the problem had persisted. My concern was that perhaps the fuel filter had allowed some material to pass and clog the injectors. I was told that they had state of art equipment and an OEM certified mechanic on board, they were confident that they could help. I left the car with them next morning. I was very grateful to have someone that was confident they could help, I have never dealt with Auto repair shops and they seemed quite nice. Well, NOT SO I had several conversations with the shop that morning and was lead to believe that the diagnostics on the fuel system and ignition had been performed and no indication of any problems. (Later there was no recorded data to substantiate any diagnostic was performed at all) I  was told that their resident "expert" had discovered that two push rods had been placed in the wrong sleeve causing internal damage to the heads. Which is a lie, in fact if that had been the case the car would have never ran in the first place. I was informed that a leak down test was required to insure that the compresssion was ok, (For which again there was no record of any data that a leak down test was performed.) These people were ready and willing to perform very labor intensive and expensive procedures that were a complete fabrication, NOT NEEDED. I was very niave and trusting and preyed upon by predatory scammers whose purpose and intention I believe was to get as much money as they could by manipulation and deceit.
