Cottman Transmission, franchise Owner David Mansoor Khaef substandard work and no show at small claims court New Bedford Massachusetts

vehicle was brought into cottmans for a check on a sparatic shift problem.road test and inspection revealed nothing was told they cannot find problem and had to remove tranny. after rremoving tranny was told whole tranny was shot needed complete rebuild.

wife told them do it we had a trip planned soon.was told vehicle was all set. 2 weeks later left for hershey park from mass and tranny failed in N.J. cottmans in N.J. told me whole tranny was bad, and i quote "IT WAS THE WORST TRANSMISSION I HAVE EVER SEEN" had to stay in a hotel and rent a vehicle to complete trip then take time out of work a week later to retrieve my vehicle the cottmans in N.J. showed me a box of parts sent to him from the cottmans in new bedford all used.he had refused to put them in and was going to try to get reimbursed for the new parts he bought to use in my tranny.

no help from New Bedford cottmans I took the owner to court for the cost of hotel and rental car.he did not show up for court .loser by default then did not contactme to make payment and did not show up at court for case update .I now have a Capiace for his arrest.but he does not live in MA he falsified all his business papers at city hall in New Bedford and with the attorney generals office by stating he lives at the transmissin shop.

He owns another Cottmans in richmond VA so beware if you live in richmond.This man is a crook and the cottmans parent company is no help either do not waste your time or money with this company crooks and liers to the end
