Cottman Transmission on Chef Menteur in New Orleans East is horrible. The owner puts the wrong dates on receipts so when his shotty transmission work fails you are out of warranty. Its the perfect hustle. I started having problems long before the warranty ran out. When I returned the car he always said he checked it out and all was fine!!!! Of course!!!! He did not want to place himself in a position to refund my $2,522.00.
The corporate office of Cottman houses the most rude and offensive so called directors and customer service people you would ever want to speak with. The corporate office speaks to you like you are the liar and not the cottman person.
Ryan Mooney at Cottman Transmission in New Orleans is a liar. He lied and said he tried to make us an offer to repair his already shotty work.
If they were the only transmission company on earth I would rather trash my car and buy a new one before going back to Cottman and being scammed!!! The schiester even lets a pit bull roam the reception area. The place is nasty and smells like dog release!!!
All you people that have been ram rodded by this place let the world know. Maybe we will have enough information for a class action suit.

Please don't bring your car to Cottman Transmission on Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans. They are greasy bandits. They charge you an arm & a leg for crappy work. They only replace some of the parts but charge you for all parts. Please don't get burned like the many of people that are suing the now. Check the complaints and also the lawsuits against them at small claims court. You have been warned.

Cottman Transmission on Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans knows nothing about integrity. There motto should be "scam them if you can"! They piece things together and roll you out.
