HI-TECH TUNE & LUBE - KHAWAR RASHID REMOVED REAR BEARING WITH WRONG TOOLS ADDISON Illinois

Rear axel was leaking I took it to Hi-Tech for repair. Paid for said repair, but was back in a matter of weeks. Same issue,all total 3 tiimes, was given a 1 yr warranty in writing. On third visit he stated that housing was ovaled out and I would probably need to replace the rear end. True to form it leaked , I called and asked what was he going to do to resolve this issue. He claimed he was not going to do anything and for me to go ahead and take legal action.

Needing my vehicle, I took it to another mechanic and explained my situation. He put my van on the rack to inspect, called me over to see just what my problem was.Bearings were bad and rear brake pads were flooded from rear end fluid. In the process of removing seals and bearings, the mechanic noticed the housing was cut and scarred up. The other mechanic used a wizard, cutting out the bearing instead of using a bearing puller. Thus ruining the rear end casing the houses the bearing and seal. This tool could have been purchased or rented. Called hi-Tech to confront them with findings, at first denied it, then admitted it and stated that I could sue him. And with that he hung up on me. To repair the damages from Hi-tech was $2859.19. What a rip-off!
