Just Brakes ripoff, sexual harassment of customers Duluth Georgia

This story begins in Sept 2003. To make a long story short, we paid 485.89 for a brake job on my daughter's 98 Nissan. She had trouble as soon as we left. She took it back to another Just Brakes on North Druid Hills Rd. 8 days later and was told nothing was wrong.

She took it back again twice to other Just Brakes, and she was again told nothing was wrong. Mind you, each time they only drove the car around the parking lot and did not do a physical inspection. I should have been more proactive as a parent, but my husband had been diagnosed with cancer. My concerns were with him. Finally things got so bad with her car, that she took it back to the original store in May 2004. The manager of the store told her initially that it would cost around 90 dollars.

While my 21-year-old daughter was waiting in the customer waiting area, the manager, Dean, comes and sits beside her and starts to carry on a conversatioin. He tells her he also designs a line of ladies clothing and wants her to be one of his models. She got so scared that she called her father to come pick her up. The story goes on and on, but bottom line is she was charged another 213.19. I have called my credit card company to dispute this charge. If the work had been done correctly in the first place, we would not be having the rotor problems that seem to be so consistent with Just Brakes and their "warranty".

Number one, do not have your brakes done at Just Brakes and number two, NEVER NEVER send a young woman in there alone. When I called the stores that "serviced" her car after the initial brake job, no one can find records of her being there. I was told that their stores are not "computerized" and would not be able to provide me with records. One store did have a ticket, but I was told the ticket was blank, so they could not verify the exact work done.
