Mazdak represented themselves as experts on rotary engines. They changed 4 spark plugs and charged $144.00 and said the car was repaired. The 4 sparkplugs they replaced were brand new. I refused to pay and they held my car. I filed against them in magistrates court and won a judgment against them in the amount of $2,200.00. I then found out that Mazdak is just a front for their other companies and has no assetts to levy on. So far I have been unable to collect any of the judgment. I later took the car to a Mazda dealer and found that the real problem was a bad seal allowing coolant to enter the combustion chamber. Not only did they try to charge almost 4 times a reasonable amount, they totally mis-diagnosed the problem and have their business set up to dodge legal responsibility.
