Everytime I go to get my brakes fixed, which is annually.  I am told that I do not have the lifetime warranty on the parts.  When I show them the paperwork, they still try to get out of it.  Then I am ALWAYS told that I need new rotors.  When asked to give old rotors back to see if they really needed to be replaced, wouldn't give them to me.  The rotors were not replaced but I was charged.  Looked at supposedly new rotors which I had marked and they were the same ones.
