I went to Midas for an oil change because I had a coupon.  First, they acted strangely and took an hour for an oil change that I am not even sure they did since my light never went off. Midas talked me into buying new brakes and discs, another 2 hours of labor (which I discovered I did not need after showing my local mechanic) at a certain price.  When I wanted to look at the bill, the guy (Chris) said "oh that is my copy" and after quoting me an entirely different price before the new brakes were put on, he billed me almost $500, mostly for labor.  Guess he just assumed I was another dumb female and wouldn't catch this. Midas is not a member of the BBB, should tell you something.  Do not go here, they not only talk you into buying parts you don't need, they do shoddy work.

Your oil pressure may be low

AUTHOR: coast - (USA)

The oil light indicates low oil pressure; it is not an indication that the oil needs to be changed. You should not continue driving the car until a qualified mechanic checks it out.

Many companies have elected not to be members of the BBB because ratings can be bought instead of earned. For proof, Google: ABC-BBB.
