Midas tried to tell me my power steering rack was leaking and did all work under a 2 way mirror huge ripoff Lewiston Maine

Back in March I brought my car into Midas for an oil change, and asked him to check the exhaust. An hour later, the mechanic brought me into the garage, showed me a drop of what was supposed to be power steering fluid and told me that my power steering rack was leaking. I have no idea if the oil was even changed, as all the work was done where he could see the lobby i was in, but i could not see him, it was one of those 2 way mirrors. I filled the power steering fluid, and to this day i have not lost a drop. He must have put that drop there and took advantage of the fact that the fluid level was low. He told me they could order a rack for about $400, plus labour, etc. Thank God I lied and told him i didn't have the money and i took it elsewhere where they told me it was "bone dry". This is theft plain and simple, and i would NEVER EVER trade with midas again, nor would i ever go to a mechanic who had a 2 way mirror.
