Mikes Kitsap Brakes and Wiring ripoff Mikes Kitsap Brakes ruined the finish on my classic 1977 corvette Bremerton Washington

Approximatly 2 months ago I took my 1977 corvette to Mikes Kitsap Brakes to have the belts replaced. They said that they needed to have the car all day and they gave me a ride back to my house. when the time for them to close for the day drew near and they hadeen't called yet, I called them and was told that they had indeed finished with my car and were about to close up for the day and wanted to know if i wanted to pick the car up the next day, when i hesitated i was told by the manager(Jeromy) that he had personally put my car up on a lift for the night and had to take it back down.

When i started looking at the scrapes and chipped paint,Jeromy told me that it had happened when one of his workers accidently shut the hood on a hose that was left there and that the scratches were caused by one of his employees (who had left for the day)by not using proper equipment to protect the finish on my car, HE(Jeromy) then oppologised and "washed the $100+ bill and told me that he would make it good himself (which turned out to be a a tube of chevrolet black touch up paint)and to take my car and get a good estimate and ther would be no problem. well, when i told Jeromy that i had talked to my atourney and that i wanted my car repainted (because the damage is so bad that it cant be buffed out)and that the estimate was over $5000.

Then he said that Mike(evidently the owner of the business would never pay to have my car repainted. and that they would just claim that the damage must have been done somewhere else. The paint on my car was imaculate before i took it to them now its all scratched and cracked because i trusted them. I think that because they did this damage that they should have to have my car repainted.They say " tough luck" I would love to have some good legal advice as to how i can get them to make good .
