PEP Boys Store Manager Rob Goodman Destroyed My Engine Put wrong Spark plugs in car caused engine to fail the business that doesn’t give a dam Savannah Georgia

I took my car 94 BMW318is into PEP-Boys for an oil change and a tune up on MAY 16 2002. I noticed my car progressively geeting louder and remarked to my family I think i need a new Muffler.

On January 25 2003 my car blew a spark plug completely out of the engine with the threading. I didn't know what the problem was. I took my car to the BMW repair shop and they quickly informed me that I had the wrong spark plugs in my engine.

BMW went on to say that pressure was escaping around the spark plugs which accounted for the extra noise, and over time loosened the plugs and finally blowing one completely out and Destroying the Engine Head. I contacted the store Manager and told him my story and HE said and I Quote We are not going to honor any anything done on your car back in MAY 2002. I asked himdid he want to see the receipt and he said NO, I also asked would you like to speak to BMW and he said NO and HUNG up the Phone. This Stupid ass Shop has cost me a lot of money. I looked at the spark plug that is supposed to go in my car and the ones they put in and they couldn't be more different.

How could they make such a mistake?????

I live in Augusta, GA and I have just retired from the ARMY. I had driven my car up to Chicago to visit my family and that's where it broke down. I had to leave my car and fly back to Augusta, cost $ 234.00, fly back to chicago and get my car $ 79.00, rent a UHAUl to bring my car back $700.00, for the truck and about $ 179.00 in gas. Bmw estimates just the engine head alone will be $ 1500.00. My car is currently in the shop.
