August 8,th 2004, i took my car to this shop (since it's in my community) to have general maintence on my car. It was left on friday I stated that i will pick my car up on monday, upon my arrival on 8/9th at the opening of business the shop was not opened, after waiting 20 minutes for the arrival of the manager and other customers I was told to come to back to discuss my car.

i was told that they were sent wrong parts and because his mother had came to town the car would not be ready so i could use the owners car which i said no i will not that's why I left my cell # just in case something like this would happened or I could just take my car and return later. I left and decided to come back at closing, this already left a bad taste in my mouth Oh boy what next.

This is where it all starts, Three weeks later on 9/3/2004 my car stalled on me and had contacted the shop to inform them that something was wrong with my car I was asked by the Business owner due to the storm we had Gaston was the car in a flood I stated no he indicate he had several cars coming in for the same reason. so he called to have my car towed to his shop. At this time I was informed my car was damaged by the flood, so then i called my insurance to file a claim, since i had believed this was the reason my car was not able to start and that i needed a new engine.

At this point after speaking w/ the mechanic and the owner I was given two different stories for the reason my car was not starting,so i had my car towed to a local dealership who indicated that anti-freeze had spilled all over my engine and other parts under my hood,and that there was no fllod damage,I then contacted Standard auto to inform them of this damage,which to no avail i have been ignored. I've left messages sent a certified letter contact the Better Business Bureau which they sent letters and they have also been ignored, I have since paid this dealership $975.00 to have my serviced and rental fees for a car so i could get back to work.

All i'm asking is to be reimbured for the additional funds i had to be put and acknowledge what they have done This is the worst I've experienced I'm now afraid to take my car to anyone now. Beware of the Service Repair Phoneys,they have no knowledge at all and should take up other trade.
