At ANY rate, you aren't to be believed. Here's a statement from your ROR....
"Now were talking about a multi trillion dollar company nation wide and this is what they do to there employees who bust there backs to satisfy the customers. I really feel for them. I wish something could be done."
This from a financial profile of Tire Kingdom:
"Divisional Vice President: 268 stores (2,400+ employees) with sales in excess of $500 million.
▬ Reduced 86 negative profit stores to 36 in 12 months, was on target to achieve 100% profitability in all stores in 2011.
▬ Only division in company to have a same-store tire unit increase, coupled with a 17% increase in automotive service, resulting in record-breaking sales and profit year for Tire
Kingdom."
Your statement "multi trillion dollar company", perhaps $3,000,000,000,000 (three trillion) and an actual $500,000,000 (Five hunddred milliion). Do you always exaggerate in the TRILLIONS?"
What a difference...$3,000,000,000,000
Actual $500,000,000

I cannot understand how you were ripped off here. This appears to be nothing more than an unfounded, third party observation or accusation.
What is your motive with this report?? Were you fired?
I have a hard time finding a report credible when the author cannot tell the difference between "there" and "their" on multiple occasions. It appears that the ripoff here is on the taxpayers as they paid for you to get 13 years worth of schooling, and obviously got little return on that investment.
Furthermore, the federal minimum wage is more than $6.40 per hour, so that wage claim is bogus.Get some education.
Also, any unsafe conditions in the workplace can be reported online at the OSHA website. As far as the parking lot issues go, these are usually the responsibility of an association or landlord, as most of these locations are LEASED.
It appears that you are really clueless, and most likely were just too stupid to work for them and they fired you. Is this what happened?? Are you by chance related to Charles-Phenix City?

I'm sure this OP exaggerated some, and clearly he's posting about something he claims to have witnessed or been told about as opposed to a situation directly involving him, which makes him somewhat of a busybody.
However, I don't understand the rush to pillory him over it. Maybe Tire Kingdom, or at least this location "hires" their people as independent contractors, or under some loophole that gets them out of paying the minimum wage. The commission added arrangement perhaps plays into that.
See this video on you tube where a pickup truck began to fall off a lift at a Tire Kingdom. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48t68l5Xhbg
If the url above is redacted just add "watch?v=48t68l5Xhbg" to their main url.
Clearly at least some Tire Kingdom's have equipment issues, and if their jobs are insecure, it's unlikely any employees are going to directly chance posting for themselves here.
Again, I'm not knee jerk siding with this guy, but his report could have plausibility.

Sounds like the OP nailed it! I also think Ken (first person to respond) is Ken Arnold the DM for Orlando/Daytona area. I would think if he was going to respond at all he would state how TBC is concerned about employee saftey and would correct any OSHA violations immediately! But no he tries to belittle the OP on the value of the company.
"At ANY rate, you aren't to be believed."

If we are not to believe the OP, Then how can we believe you? How can TBC build 30 new stores a year at 2.2 million each if they only have gross sales of $500 million? Well because your forgetting about NTB, Merchants, Big O, TBC Brands, Treadways, Carroll Tire, TBC International, NTW and the parent company TBC who is owned by Sumitomo of america, Who is owned by sumitomo of japan and is one of the 3 largest trading companys in the world.

To Tireguy, while I disagreed with the 1st 2 responders here, rest assured, neither has a thing to do with the company. On Ripoff Reports, insisting someone you disagree with works for the company being reported on is generally the last refuge of scoundrels. I'm sure you didn't intend to become a scoundrel.

Sorry if I came of that way. I was searching Tire Kingdom reviews for my store and came across this report about TK ormond. Allthough I am comfortable in my job I can sympathize with the OP. Weather he is really a customer, employee or Ex employee. TK does have inferior equipment some of it out right dangerous. They do refuse to fix it until April 1 Start of our new year and even then they probably still won't fix anything!
I will admit my emotions got involved. I did post alot more, but for some reason it only posted about a third of what I typed out. I stand firm that Ken may not be Ken Arnold, But this person does work for TBC. He is copying and pasting excerpts from last years business plan, Witch I have read with my own eyes. TBC does not release this information to the public as we have not been a publicly traded company since 05. You may find some numbers through sumitomo. Search for yourself you will not find what he posted! TBC is known to frequent Ripoff Report and Pissed Consumer.com
Automotive repair may not sound very dangerous when we are talking about changing tires. I'm only guesing that this was a split rim that almost blew the workers face off. Split rims should NEVER, NEVER! be changed with out a cage! Yet when a motor home comes in with split rim's 9/10 they will risk some poor mans life for a $15 sale. I dont know about TK ormond, But we dont have a cage at my store, nor do I know of a TK that does. Here is a video about the dangers of split rims. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQbKCd3ezrA
As you can see from the OP they dont get payed much and yes there comission does play a factor in beating the minimum wage law, But this is a whole nother story that im not going to get into. What I would like to say to the OP or any other worker. REFUSE to do the job! Your life is worth more than than any wage. If you get fired contact OSHA. You can not be fired for refusing to do unsafe work if its legit.
TBC should do a full saftey aduit of their stores. This was once a great company and I still think it could be.

This alleged information on the $6.40 an hour is either very old, or a flat out lie.
Other than tipped employees, no employee in the State of Florida can earn less than the minimum wage.
The sub minimum wage paid to tipped employees has many stipulations as well.
Labor suits have been filed and won on this.
In Florida, an employer CAN pay hourly plus commission, BUT the hourly must be at least the minimum wage.
It is illegal in Florida for an employer to average commissions against a minimum wage, just as it is illegal for an employer who pays every 2 weeks to average overtime hours over those 2 weeks. For example, if you worked 36 hours on week 1 of the pay period and 44 hours in the second week of the pay period, under Florida Law, you still have 4 hours of overtime pay on top of 80 hours of straight time pay, NOT just 80 hours straight time.
Although lots of shady employers attempt various methods of skirting the law, and some get away with it, for a while, but is still illegal.
As far as the unsafe equipment and working conditions, any employee that accepts that is just a moron, and is part of the problem. Just refuse to perform the unsafe task. Call OSHA on the spot from your employer's phone! (This is totally legal).
Don't be so desperate and scared of your crappy job. Crappy jobs are a dime a dozen. Next.
