Tires Plus Trolling for cash Port St Lucie Florida

I stopped by to have them check the alignment and balance the tires on my 2001 Jaguar. They then told me the rear wheel bearings were bad and had to be replaced. Cost, over $700.

I decided to hold off on the alignment and the balance and get a second opinion. I then went to a Jaguar specialist who checked it out and said there was nothing wrong with the wheelbearings and would easily go another 20K miles before it would need to be done.

This isn't the first time I've had the feeling Tires Plus was overly aggressive in "finding" problems with a car. It has happened at two other Tires Plus locations. I like their tire prices but no longer accept their diagnosis of other "problems." My advice? If you go to Tires Plus, get a second opinion before you let them fix stuff.
