I have a 2001 Toyota Camry Gallery Addition six cylinder with 75,000 miles on it. I received a consumer report on the car informing me that the engine could develop problems because of oil gel. In October 2008 the lifters started to make noise so I took it to a Midas dealer to have the lifters adjusted. He told me that it should not have any problems with only 75,000 miles on it. He advised me to take it to the Toyota dealer where I purchased the car.

The car passed the emission test for Washington State in November.

I took the car to Toyota of Kirkland where I purchased the car. They charged me $103 to see what the problem was. They then told me it was not oil gel so I would have to pay for the repair. They then told me that it would cost me an additional $750 to determine what the problem with the engine was.

I told them that was great but they had not told me after $850 what it would cost to fix the car. I was then told that it would most likely cost me an additional $3,000 to fix the problem.

I then called the Toyota headquarters to report my problem. I called and discussed the problem with Carma, she contacted the dealer where I purchase the car and told me there was nothing they could do. I was then told to contact Monic at the Kirkland dealership. Maybe she could help me with discounts for repairing the car.

I purchased a Toyota because of the reputation they have for low repair costs. I have owned Oldsmobile's, Hondas', Fords', Jeeps' and Dodges'. I never had a problem with any of these cars before 100,000 miles.

It seems that Toyota's advertisements are a lie and their cars are not as good as US built cars.

ALERT!!!!! ALERT!!!!!!!! Maurice, Not only are Toyota vehicles bad, but their Top executives.......

AUTHOR: Karl - Highlands Ranch (U.S.A.)

at TOYOTA CORPORATION are LIARS, CHEATERS, DECEIVERS, MANIPULATORS, and people who believe in FINANCIALLY INJURING THE INNOCENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In December of 2004 Toyota's CEO, Mr. Funo, & Toyota's Head of Customer Relations, Elaine Matsuda, received VITAL INFORMATION (evidence) of 'things' that were taking place inside TOYOTA!!!!!!! He, and she, refused to do anything about it, except CONSPIRE to hide the TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HE (Mr. Funo) QUIT in June of 2005!!!! He was replaced by Jim Press in June 2005.

Toyota's CEO in 2005, Jim Press, refused to do anything after he RECEIVED VITAL INFORMATION (evidence) of 'things' taking place inside TOYOTA!!!!!!!!

HE QUIT his CEO position and announced he was going over to Chrysler on 9-6-2007. You can 'Google' this- JIM PRESS, and go to the Bloomberg site for proof that he QUIT his CEO position at TOYOTA!!!!

FACT: On 8-23-2007, two weeks BEFORE Jim Press QUIT, a poem entitled- SLUDGE POEM (you can 'Google' it!), was written and posted here at Ripoff Report.

FACT: Three days BEFORE Jim Press QUIT his CEO position at TOYOTA a Christmas Song was written and posted here. On 9-3-2007, 'Toyota Christmas Song #2' was posted. 'Google' this- RIP OFF REPORT TOYOTA CHRISTMAS SONG #2, and read it, or sing it! Look at the lyrics!!!!

FACT: SLUDGE POEM 2 (you can 'Google' it!), was posted about TOYOTA'S TOP person in Japan. His name is Katsuaki Watanabe! He KNOWS everything that's been going on. He will PAY HIS Lawyers as much as they want in order to keep these problems QUIET! He will PAY THE MEDIA (T.V., etc.) as much as needed to keep the problems QUIET!!!

Guess what? HE CAN'T STOP US FROM SPEAKING OUT, can he????

HE'S LOSING!!!!! Just like his WORTHLESS stock that's now worth 50% LESS than it was just a year ago when it was at $117 a share!!! It'll be BELOW $50 a share in late January of 2009. By January 23rd 2009 it'll be BELOW $50 a share!!!!!!!!

YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BOYCOTT Dateline NBC, & 60 Minutes, & Toyota, & General Electric (GE), & VIACOM. VIACOM owns CBS who will protect TOYOTA because they need TOYOTA'S advertising dollars, just as Dateline NBC, & NBC, need TOYOTA'S AD MONEY in order to exist and pay their executives their FAT SALARIES!!!!!!!!!!!!

'Only a pawn in their GAME!' - Dylan

P.S. 'Google' this- ENGINE SLUDGE, and go to the consumeraffairs website about Toyota Engine Problems and read all of them. Make sure to click on 'Airbags' when you are there and read those complaints too!! YOUR LIFE COULD BE IN DANGER!!!!
