I locked my keys in my car Friday April 17, 2009 in Hamilton Ohio. I searched the net with my phone, and Dependable Locksmith came up as the closest locksmith. They had a $39 service fee + $15 for minimum work fee. I was charged the maximum work fee of $141, making the grand total for closest locksmith travel time and 1 minute of work of $180.00 Later, I discovered Dependable Locksmith pays to come up favorably in searches of the net, and has partnered with shady locksmiths all over the country. Now I know I would have been better off if I had made sure I was dealing with a local company with an actual local physical address. The locksmith would not take my check, was rude, and made sexual advances toward me. He insisted on following me to an ATM, where I paid him in cash. I was robbed. His name did not appear on the receipt, and there is no mailing address.

I called the Dependable Locksmith number from the net (866) 429-9485 They were reasonably polite, said they were only an answering service and if I had a complaint they recommend writing to the corporate office, Dependable Locksmith Corporate Office, 2643 Gulf to Bay Blvd., Suite 1560-420, Clearwater, FL 33759

The actual adress is 407 S arcturas ave Clearwater, fl 33765 727-464-9025 - 727-464-9000 / Y.Y call center is the name that they use as the inbound line -you actually spoke with a employee - file a complaint with the attorney general of your state -

 fraud going on Nationwide for over 5 years, 1. Dependable Locksmith - Bronx's New York / Clearwater FL 2.      usa Locksmith , Hackensack New Jersey : Is the Exact same operation. P.O. Box 1140 Hackensack NJ 07602 800-721-5131   Israeli foreigners traveling to every major US city working as locksmiths,     Telecommunications fraud - using Level III communications - flooding every major city 411 with hundreds of business names and phone numbers with fake addresses [violation of the Lanham act] that all forward back to a call center in New York city, calls then dispatched to local foreigners to take locksmith calls , cash only, consumer fraud quote $39. then charge $170.00 and higher.[ using Level III communications phone numbers - Tulsa OK, and CAT business Solutions phone service New York City 212 812-8261 ] They then send payments to the headquarters to the P.O. Box Prestige Business Solutions,   Reported address 18 W. Edwards Street #200 Springfield 62704,  Reported address Teaneck NJ 07666 Similar operations now appearing are: www.Run-Local-Locksmith.com 425-440-0304 ($29. fraud advertising) www.CompleteLocksmith.com 425-454-7752 possible Phoenix AZ area headquarter www.247SeattleLocksmith.com possible Phoenix AZ area headquarter www.Seattle.localsmith.net 888-270-1096    www.us-locksmith.info 888-270-1096 These  non-tax paying consumer fraud operations have caused the closing of almost every locksmith businesses in the Seattle metro area that is paying tax's.      If the LanHam act were enforced (fake local addresses) and the Level III communications was forced to remove the fake addresses from the tens of thousands of listings nationwide they would disappear from Google maps.   Additional Information on internet at - "Nationwide Google Fraud" - (Google search box) In the 3rd year of operations in Seattle Metro, and growing very rapidly. Over 2000 business listings in the Seattle Dex yellow pages, all go to New York call center, usa locksmith.
