I drove up to a stop light, the driver's side front part of the rail pulled through the metal leaving a partial piece of the lower rail behind. Since this is a 2001 JEEP, I'm told by the dealer, the corporation that there is no waranty. The fact remains that possible poorly manufactured rail is the culprit. I have owned many vehicals and never had seen the likes of this. Most manufacturers use generic parts for their different products. I wonder how many defective rails are installed in Chrysler Corp. autos? I wonder how safe the seats would be if BOTH rails failed?

Thank You, RW
