Express Tire Hogs in the auto-bay San Diego California

I purchased a set of tires from one of their stores located at 16556 Bernardo Center DR. to the tune of $640.00.

I had just had brakes installed at a Sears Auto Center in Mira Mesa and sat outside the auto bay watching the young men do the brake job, which btw was excellent quality and workmanship. When they had finished, I had brakes and the rims were clean and looked good for a 5 year old auto.

I dropped my car off at Express and picked it up when they where closing, it was parked in an area with very poor lighting and didn't pay any attention to the rims until the following morning.

Two of the cast aluminum rims where black as if brake dust had been sprayed on them and fingerprints all over them, all four rims had this dust in varying amounts applied to them. I know for a fact that the rims were clean before the tires were installed. Two of the rims were beat to death by the tire changer with scratches, one being over 6 inches long.

I also know that it does no good to complain to the manager about damages to ones personal property. After all, they pride themselves on quality and craftsmanship.

I also know that I will never return to Express Tire for anything unless I encounter problems with these tires and would not recommend them to anyone for any type of auto repair.
