After 60,000 miles on my suv it was time to replace my tires. i did research on tires and finally settled on a set of bridgestone dualer at revo for my wifes suv. I went in to the firestone in oaklawn and was told that they were in stock and he could get me out in one hour. 1 hour came and went and no one was to be found.
my vehicle was sitting on the lift and nothing was happening to it. no one was in the front to talk to me. I was getting restless because they promised me an hour and i had to pick up my daughter from school. finally i stuck my head out the doo and said can some one help me. so the guy i was talking to said "what" I asked if they were done yet and he said just a few more minutes.
one hour later they finally pulled my vehicle out and someone else came to recieve payment for my tires and i asked him does it usually take 2 hours to install tires and he said no, but we had to go to another store to get yours. i said I wish some one would have said something to me because now my daughter is waiting for me at school and i am very late in picking her up. he apoligized and gave me a $20.00 discount. i graciously accepted it.
i ran to my suv and drove off to pick up my daughter. when i got home i noticed that they had put the wrong tires on my vehicle. they had installed Firestone Destination Le's on it. so I looked at my bill and it also said the destinations. at the same price I was quoted for the bridgestones which are more money. They said they put on what I asked for.
So i called and asked for the manager and was promptly given to the guy that screwed up the whole thing in the first place. he said I told him Firestones and I said no.!!!!!!!!!!!! I then asked him to price out the bridgestones for me and the were $20.00 more. I decided to call another firestone and asked for a price on both tires and guess what the bridgestones were what I had paid and the firestones were about $150 cheaper.
I called their consumer affairs about it and was told i will be called back within an hour, i am still waiting. Must have alot of complaints. I tried the next day and got the same recording. I tried 10 times and am still waiting for a phone call. in the mean while i had a nail in my tire and was refused service by them even though i had the roadhazzard warranty. "They had a six hour wait" for a tire repair??????????? get real.
DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND GET AWAY WITH IT111111
