I needed new tires for the summer,because I drive a lot for work during the summer. I looked a several and decided on General Tire with their $50 rebate, Which swayed my purchuse. I summited my paper work and went to work for the summer.

I returned weeks later and noting was in the mail for a rebate.

I called and was told that they had nothing on me for a rebate. I stated that I sent all required information in on time and could I resend it. No, I was told, the time has passed for submitting for the rebate.

I now will not let the rebate, sway my buying. I have had this happen more than 10 times over the years. The companies have make millions on this scam.
