SPAUGH MOTOR COMPANY This company charged me $140 to tow my car 5 miles and didn't even give me a ride home. When I called them, the lady was very rude telling me I was lucky that I got a tow because she had to interrupt the drivers dinner. WINSTON-SALEM North Carolina

Spaugh Motor Co. ripped me off!! We had them tow our car after hitting a deer on Jan. 2, 2009, not even 5 miles away. They charged us $140 and didnt even give us a ride home. The reporting officer told us that they were suppose to offer a ride and for us to call them on Monday and see about getting some of our money back.

When I called, the owner of the business was extremely rude by telling me that I was lucky to of gotten a tow because she had to interrupt the drivers dinner with his wife. Well I proceeded to tell her that the officer told us that the tow company was suppose to offer us a ride home and if we were unable to come with an agreement of payment amount with the company then we needed to call the police and do a report on them and the lady then told me that I needed to do what I need to do, all the while she was very rude spoken.

Well because of the time of day I haven't been able to call the reporting officer but will be doing so tomorrow morning. I just don't understand why people own a business and treat their customers like trash, after all, I am helping them continue to operate their business by giving them business!!
