Charges one price after they get your deposit,than they charge you more after numerous calls when they are going to pick up the car. On August 17, 2009 I contacted Around the Globe Auto Transport, I spoke to Johnny Smith, I told him that my daughter just went to Ca. for college and we had to transport her car to her. He said that the price would be $799.00 as soon as he gets the 175.00 deposit, he would have the car picked up by Wednesday 8/19/09, I asked him several times what the balance would be when they delivered her the car, he said $624.00, I asked him again and again, same reply $624.00. When the car was not picked up by Friday 8/21/09 I called him and he said that they left several messages on my answering machine, which was a lie, plus I gave him 4 different phones numbers in case I could not be reached at my home number.  After that call he said that he would find out why the car was not picked up and call me back. Well the little WEEZEL never called me back, some woman called and said that they could get my car picked up on Saturday but the price would be 740.00 when they delivered her car, so the price went from 799.00 to 915.00, I said I am not paying that price, Mr. Smith the WEEZEL said that my balance would be 624.00, she said well if you want your car picked up that is the price. I said cancel my order and give me back my deposit, I have not heard from anyone except when I wrote a review on AutoTransport Reviews. After I wrote my review, the Review company Emailed me and said that they removed the review because AROUND THE GLOBE AUTO TRANSPORT could not locate me as a customer, I had to send them my bank statement showing that AROUND THE GLOBE AUTO TRANSPORT took my 175.00. after I proved that, they put the review back on. All of sudden I get a call from Gretal from AROUND THE GLOBE AUTO TRANSPORT, I guess they found me as a customer, but lied to Auto transport reviews, saying I wasn't a customer. These people are scamming the consumer, I had to contact the BBB and the Attorney General's office in Florida and report them.  Please DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, I later found out that transport companies do not require a deposit, I used Door to Door Transport, my car is now with my daughter in Ca., I am still fighting to get my deposit back from this company, they had my deposit since 8/18/09. I am very hopeful that I will get my money back.
