Sheila Pquette, Naomi Denham and Don Treece should all go to jail for running an unethical and deceitful business model.

A couple months ago, I called Domestic Auto Transport requesting a quote. Sheila Pquette answered the phone and provided me with a verbal quote that was several hundreds of dollars lower than anyone else in the auto transport industry. I told her that I was considering some other options and wasn't ready to make a committment. She told me that prices were increasing and that she would be able to hold the quoted price if I gave her my credit card. She reassured me that she would not charge my credit card until I reviewed, signed and sent her back a copy of the quote. In addition, she told me that a driver would not be dispatched until she received a signed quote back from me. As such, I gave her my credit card number so that we could lock the low price that was quoted to me.

A short time thereafter, I decided not to move forward with the service as I decided that I would transport the vehicle myself. As such, I never signed the quote nor sent her written authorization to charge the deposit to my credit card.

A couple weeks later, I received a call from a transport driver. They told me that they were within 30 minutes of my house and wanted to pick up my vehicle. I told the driver that I didn't make any arrangements to have him come out.

I immediately called Sheila and asked her what was going on. She told me that she made arrangements to have my vehicle picked up. I told her that I never signed the quote nor did I ever give her written authorization to charge my credit card. She told me that I had to proceed with the service or else she would charge my card an additional $250 on top of my deposit that charged unbenounced to me. Due to her manipulation and deceipts I moved forward with the service as I was fearful of having my card charged additional sums of money.

I have tried requesting a refund of my deposit with my credit card company, however, they are not willing to investigate the fraudulent nature of this claim.

If there is a lawyer reading this complaint, I'm very interested in raising this issue with the SEC and FTC. If there are any monies that are recovered, you can have it. I just want to see this unethical company put out of business so that they can't deceive anyone else.

I discourage anyone from doing business with Domestic Auto Transport. Whatever they tell you is a lie. If they quote a low price, its a lie...don't let them tempt you into getting your credit card. They will charge you a deposit fee, change the price and force you into doing business with them.
