Global Relogistics Inc Waited 1 1/2 days for the transport driver to call. The only call was from Global Regolistics, saying "sorry, no driver was found in time" at the last hours of the deadline." Refused to give refund Laurel, Maryland

I originally needed to have a vehicle transported from Maryland to Virginia, shopped around and finally decided on Global Logistics, after comparing prices. I talked to the representative who was very nice, energetic and very anxious to close the deal.

During the conversation I specifically told her the car must be picked up no later than Sunday 12th of July. She then said "that  should be no problem. this would  be confirmed on Sat morn. and the driver should call me Sat evening or Sunday morning with an eta".

Not once did she tell me of the consequences of canceling, if the eta deadline could not be met.

I waited all day Saturday and into Sunday morning  awaiting a call from Global Relogistics. Finally A Global Relogistic representative called Sunday during the last hours of the dead line and said "Sorry, a driver was not available for a pick-up on Sunday and said a driver would contact me  Monday evening or Tuesday Morning".

Needless to day this placed me in a very bad dilemma and had to make last minute plans and ended up transporting it myself, having to pay additional expenses. not to mention time off work on Saturday! I then told the representative "forget it I have to cancel, the car has to go today!"

I did not receive any phone call from any transport driver on Monday or Tuesday or any attempted pick-Up. It is to my belief that a carrier was never dispatched. In this case no service was ever made.

I attempted to call about being refunded numerous times, but was told that customer care does not respond to phone calls only emails. Finally after faxing their required cancellation form in, I received an email from Global Relogistics customer care, stating "that a refund would not be given, but in good faith a credit of $125 would be given for another transport service within 1 year."

The total amount was only $395, and I feel that if this is a  reputable company, they should immediately and gladly refund the amount in full. After all Global Relogistics placed me in very bad situation and lot of extra expense.

I would like to warn others of Global Relogistics, and advise not to ever use this company.
