UShip Transport nightmare Austin, Texas

I booked a ship date and the 3rd. party, who actually was to do the shipment, did not show up for 3 days, then lost over $500.00 worth of parts from the shipment. Uship is a broker, who let the job out to a broker, who let the job out to another broker, who actually was a transport person. Uship had no control over anyone and broker number two had no control over the other broker, who was the shipper. I waited 3 days, 350 miles from home for someone to show up and 3 days late they did and lost $500 worth of nearly non-replaceable parts to my 1927 Chevrolet. Uship said to cancel and rebook, that is ridiculous as I was 350 miles from home waiting after a 6 hour drive to get to where the cars were. Topnotchautotransports , broker number 2 would call and say has the driver contacted you and I would say no, then a day later they would call and say they talked to the driver and he said he called you and I would say No!! he did not and they would say I will have him call you and a day later call and say did he call you and I would say No!! and they acted as if I was a liar. This went on for 3 days before they showed up. No one knew anything other than the driver who showed up when he got ready. The transpot company said the ship date is an approximation of when the ship date is, NOT a real hardfast date. The bid i chose was the low bid and in hindsight , I would like to think the other bids were more reliable but I can not guarantee that. It has been  a miserable expierence and locating the lost parts so far has been zero!! Do not use Uship, just find a company on your own and save the $150.00 finders fee Uship gets. Run!! Run !! from Uship and Topnotchautotransports!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
