Hertz Car Rentals Misrepresentation / rip-off / deceptive practices Internet

I rented a compact car over the intenet with Hertz at Liberty Airport, Newark, NJ in late August. My initial rental was for 5 days. They converted it to a weekly rental, without informing me. Before leaving the counter I mentioned to the CSR that I will probably return the car in 4 days and was informed not to worry, that the rental will be adjusted accordingly. I returned the car in 4 days but Hertz charged me for full week refusing to consider it a daily rental. I was given the run around over the phone connecting to their corporate office and was offered a $25 coupon just to go away. I declined to accept the coupon. All those considering to rent from Hertz; BEWARE!
