I found Trtstappen online through Egencia, and the offer seemed great - 15 euros per day for 5 days. Upon arrival, it turned out that this price did not include insurance, which was not so nice, but something I expected given the price. What I did not expect was to be charged another $ 20 per day plus VAT for "snow tires", plus a few other charges I could not figure out. In total, I got charged 761 dollars for renting a small car (I rented a Golf, but was "upgraded" to a small Chevrolet) for 5 days. I have not felt tipped off ad badly in a long time and really hope that this report will help people stay away from this company.

After a phone conversation today, I ended up paying the corrected US$ 261. The agent on the phone was very professional, and I am happy the main issue is resolved.  Despite this, I caution all users to be careful with the prices quoted, as you will pay approximately twice the price you expect due to extra charges for insurance and winter equipment.
