On October 5, 2010 I cancelled my vehicle service contract because of American Auto Guardian's failure to cover a repair. The cancellation was issued from the dealership (M&M Motors). By November 22, 2010 I contacted American Auto Guardian regarding the status of my refund and was informed of the amount of the refund and they would withhold $30.00 for a roadside service call. I informed them there were no service calls for my contract and was then transferred to the claims department and I was informed they would investigate prior to any refund. I requested to be transferred back to the department regarding my refund and was disconnected. I called back on November 24, 2010 to again check the status of this "roadside claim" and my refund and was informed the refund check was mailed to the dealership (M&M Motors) on November 15, 2010 and they did not withhold the $30.00. I contacted M&M Motors on December 2, 2010 to verify if they had received a refund from American Auto Guardian and was informed no record of receipt of this refund check for my warranty cancellation. I again contacted American Auto Guardian regarding the refund and again was told it was mailed on November 15, 2010 to M&M Motors. It appears that American Auto Guardian has no intention of refunding my money and will continue to be dishonest. They will not provide me with a check number or the exact amount of the check.
