My report is much like the others. I cancelled it 3 weeks after I purchased it and although they admit I am due a full refund of $395.00 I still don't have it. I have been waiting since July 28, 2008.

I also find their employees very rude and unhelpful. Ryan Kaywood is the refund manager and he is especially rude and very sarcastic. Ryan's phone always goes to voice mail. This company reminds me of the Cap 1 commercials with David Spade. When are you going to get your refund? NEVER!

I am going to do my best to make sure this doesn't happen to others. In the meantime I will report them to as many people as I can also. I will follow any advice and would also like to be a part of any lawsuit. These people have got to be stopped.

I finally got my refund from Auto One Warranty.

I know this is hard to believe but I was actually able to get my refund from Auto One Warranty Specialists. I checked my account today and it was actually credited. I want to thank everyone who filed a report with ripoffreport. After reading about everyone's experience I realized just what kind of crooks I was dealing with. I have never been scammed before.

I found out one very important thing ... these people are terrified of public exposure. They do not want to be in any tv reports.

Also you must call every day. Call several times a day. Tell them you don't want to talk to a recording because noone there ever returns calls. Even if they tell you your refund is going to be posted this Friday or next Friday call every day anyway. Tell them that you are just checking because you have been dissapointed so many times before and you don't want to be dissapointed again. Don't curse at them. Do confront them when something is a rediculous obvious lie. Tell them you know they are making that up.

Remember they are VERY afraid of public exposure. Especially TV.

Good luck to everyone else. I am still going to write letters to the Atty. Gen. Etc. anyway and let them know about the slow refund. Hopefully that will help others recover their losses also.
