I have a 2006 Dodge Charger with only 24,000 miles and yes I am out of the warranty only by a couple of months when my car literally fell apart. I originally took my car to Okeechobee Dodge on 08/03/09 when the problems initially started happening, received attitude that I brought my Dodge to their Dodge dealership due to them not doing any warranty work, this was after I spoke to the Dodge Cooperation and they instructed me to go to the closest dealer for a diagnostic. I received the diagnostic (told I needed an Front Control module and a WCM) and called Dodge Cooperation the next day and was told that the person (Jean ID JF1682) told me the wrong information that I had to take my car all the way down to Arrigo Dodge in Palm Beach, I tried explaining to them for an hour that my car would not make it all the way down to Palm Beach that if I hit traffic and stop for an extended length in time my car over heats. I was told I can pay for towing at my own expense or didn't I have car insurance. Not once did any one tell me that I still had road side assistance from Dodge. This issue may have been taken care back in August. I was also told by Pam (ID PM777) Chrysler would be assisting financially in the repair. Now remember originally I was told I needed a new FCM and a WCM by their diagnostic, now this new diagnostic I am told I need 2 new radiator fans, and a shift locking mechanism due to my car being locked in the park position. Oh by the way all my air conditioning vents have fallen off, all my driver side door window and lock switches fell down in the door panel, my rear view mirror has started bubbling making it difficult to use the rear view mirror. All Dodge Chrysler can offer me is an extended warranty for the low cost of $1,400.00 for 50% off of parts and 50% off of the labor cost, mind you I only have 24,000 miles of my car. Thanks for nothing Dodge.
