I THINK PETE IS RIGHT. NECO ENGINES ARE A RIP OFF. I SUBMITTED ALL THEIR REQUIREMENTS FOR WARRANTY SERVICE AND THEY KEEP STALLING UNTIL AFTER THE WARRANTY DATE EXPIRES.
I SUBMITTED ALL PAPER WORK PRIOR TO A TWO YEAR DEADLINE FOR 100% REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR. THEY JUST DO NOT RESPOND. HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WHEN THEY FIRST SHIPPED THE ENGINE. THEY SHIPPED IT TO A DIFFERENT SATE AND HAD ME HANGING ON STRANDED AN EXTRA WEEK.
THE AUTO SERVICE SHOP THEY CHOSE WAS DISREPUTABLE TOO. PROBABLY THE ONLY ONE THEY COULD GET TO DO THEIR INSTALLATION FOR WHAT THEY CHARGE. ANYHOW, I WOULD RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO AVOID DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION.

NECO engine are nothing but 2-bit crooks I had a moter put in about 3 years ago in a bronco it cost me over $3,200 for the whole thing I had to drive to Texas from CT I stopped at 487 miles for the first oil change in Roanoke VA while I was getting something to eat durring a simple oil change It all began after I had it towed to Magic city Ford (Good people) They tried everything in there power to get me back on the road only after 3 hours they found out the engine was so weak from the re-manufacturing it had blown the #8 cylender NECO did send another engine out and paid for $540.00 of the $790.00 of the install But didnt pay for the $1100.00 plane ticket the $109.00 hotel or the $518.00 rental car.Thats only the begining after it was fixed My son drove it about 12,000 miles in about 8 months all records and service was done per NECO on his way to school it blows up this time leaving my son stranded for 6 hours. of course the next day I called my buddies at NECO to ask where I should have AAA tow it to only to start getting the runaround after only 26,000 miles the headaches these guys have caused me is inexcusable it has been 18 months since this incident I had all but forgot about it now I have seen your posting and realize I am sure there is alot more of us who they think they have screwed The time has come to go after the principals of there New Hampshire,New York,Mass.entities feel free to make contact with me I would love to ad to my already well equiped cannons

I AM SURE WE WERE NOT THE ONLY VICTIMS OF THIS COMPANY. I RECENTLY WAS SUCCESSFUL IN RECOVERING MY MONEY (by court order) AFTER TWO YEARS OR SO. WE SHOULD ALL GET TOGETHER IF POSSIBLE AND HAVE THESE GUYS PUT AWAY.THEY CONTINUE TO RIP PEOPLE OFF I AM SURE.I SUED IN NEW HAMPSHIRES SMALL CLAIMS COURT.DROVE THERE FROM LONG ISLAND NY.TWICE.THEY ARE LOCATED NEW HAMPSHIRE.FILE A CLAIM WITH THE MANCHESTER DISTRICT COURT OF N.H.IF YOU ARE FAR FROM THERE IT MAY NOT BE THAT EASY TO DO.I WISH WE COULD ALL GET TOGETHER AND GO AFTER THEM AS A GROUP FOR BIG DAMAGES. IN SMALL CLAIM COURT YOU ARE LIMITED.YOU MUST FILE A COMPLAINT OR BEFORE THE WARRANTY EXPIRES. KEEP GOOD RECORDS.GOOD LUCK..
