On April 19, 2007 bought 2005 Dodge Ram Pickup, with remainder 5yr/100000 mile warranty($2500). Drove for approx.10000 miles. Aug.25 noticed shutter around 30-35 mph. Aug 27, 2007 returned vehicle to dealer(still under warranty)yeah right. I waited for at least 3 hours for diagnostics & or loaner vehicle. Aug. 31 I received a call from dealer saying that I had water in transmission so warranty was void. Service tech said a vent tube was missing(possible causing leakage) I am the only driver and I know the truck has not been thru any water. How am I suppose to know that a vent tube was missing. Don't dealers check vehicles before selling?? I guess not. But they will sell you a BOGUS warranty with so many loop holes, knowing they have their own asses covered, and all our money in the bank. I would just like to have my truck fixed for the $100 deductable so I can trade it for a real truck.
FIRST & LAST TIME I EVER BUY A DODGE PRODUCT!!!
BEWARE OF LOOP HOLES IN WARRANTIES!!!
PALMER DODGE IS THE BIGGEST RIPOFF I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!

You can go to 9news.com and type in the name ORNELAS and search the story that made the Front Page of the Denver Post on 5-19-2005 and watch the video that made the 10 O'clock News on the #1 Most Watched News Station in Colorado, 9 News!
A simple LETTER is what did all of that! I know this because I wrote that letter. Write a letter, you'll feel better!

We returned the loaner vehicle yesterday, 9/6/07 just at closing time..we received a typed document with no form title, assuming this is the service tech report. I was so surprised to read from this dealership in writing "the torque converter was falling apart". On the telephone yesterday at 9:17 a.m., John Lutaine, tech, told me on the phone, that they had done work on the trans in January 2007; he lso told me that he had the original title in his paperwork!!!! He also gave me the name of that person and we looked him up and found his address and phone number. I then asked why Indiana BMV could not find this title and owner #1. I had told him the BMV was only finding first owner in January of 2007 sold from "auto auction" and dealership purchased the vehicle. (per docs only the first TWO owners can have the manf warranty transferred, we did so....to no avail so far.
UPDATE: Carfax.com is not worth the paper you print it on! I will request the refund-guaranteed from them.
We just yesterday have made contact with attorney, and thanks to the rebuttal we will send to NEWS media, and also will request documents from the bank! We have NOT received anything from JP Morgan-Chase Bank. Yes they have been contacted, to no avail, yet. Now, we will ask for the documents, and thanks to all who read these things and share problems and share advice as well. I'm ready for more!
