Several Days ago I contacted Snow Canyon Motorsports on the 23rd and 24th of June. My Ford Ranger Truck which was sold to me by Snow Canyon Motorsports 10/29/04 has been lacking power. May have a motor that is lacking power. This was no Concern to Norm the Salesman of Snow Canyon Motorsports. Anyhow, When I bought the truck 10/29/04, I was charged $1,495 for warranty, and $1,000 Tax Title and Registration fees over Invoice. I felt this was pretty steep as the invoice was around $8995.00 I requested to talk to Norm the person who sold me my truck and that this needed to be looked at. Nothing was done. Recently I had a problem with a rusty throw-out bearing that went out in my truck.

The warranty company, Ultimate Warranty Company was contacted with regards to the need to replace not only this throw-out bearing, but the torque converter, (Better Known as a Clutch in a manual Transmission.) I was told by an auto technician that the torque converter is the same thing as a Cluch in a Manual Transmission. The front of the warranty guarantees replacement of a torque converter in a Automatic Transmisssion. However the warranty company refused to pay, because hidden on the back of their contract was an exclusion I did not know about. Under this clause it states that Manual transmission claims will not be approved if the clutch is worn to the extent that it needs to be replaced at the time of transmission failure.

I have had to pay $800.00 to replace this Clutch, because of a rusty throw out bearing. Norm did not return my phone calls. I feel I was ripped off in that I was sold a Bogus Warranty that doesn't promise to Deliver and cover parts it should technically cover.

I would either like payment for the parts the Warranty Company Refused to pay, or a full refund of the Warranty Cost.

I was told that Ultimate Warranty Company Also has problems in cover certain Engine Parts that a consumer would need if the engine were to go bad. Unfortunately, their are hidden exclusions on the back of the contract that would lead a consumer to believe otherwise.

Buyer Beware of Contracts that have hidden exclusions, when a salesman tells you that you have full coverage, and that if anything were to go wrong the warranty company would replace this.
