Ultimate Warranty Corporation Cancellation Requests Not Honored/No Monies Refunds 21360 Center Ridge Rd, Rocky River Ohio

In March, 2006 I purchased a Platinum Plus Protection Policy through my BMW Dealer. Since that time, I tried to use the warranty and was told by another BMW dealer in California and two independent repair companies that they would not accept the warranty. In September, 2007, I called Ultimate Warranty Company and advised that I wanted to cancel my policy. I received a cancellation form request. I completed the form, faxed the form and confirmed with a representative of the company that the form had been received. At that time, I was told that it would take approximately 6 weeks to process the refund that would be sent to the BMW dealer that had sold me the warranty.

After the initial six week period had gone by, I contacted the Ultimate Warranty Cancellation Department for a status. The telephones were not being answered - I was only able to leave a message with my name and telephone number. During that time, I also send emails asking for status. No one from the company ever returned my telephone calls. I contacted the BMW dealer to inquire if they had received any information from Ultimate Warranty regarding the refunds. The representative from the dealership told me that they were having a great deal of trouble with Ultimate Warranty and could not get them to honor claims from some of their customers. It appears that Ultimate Warranty Corporation will not honor the terms and conditions of their contracts. I would like to see the company investigated and put out of business. Do No Purchase any contracts from them.
