I bought this insurance as security on a used vehicle. Around September the transmission went on the 1995 Lexus ES300. I am on disability and this put me in financial straits. This company has still not paid my claim. First my mechanic contacted them. And, since I had paid the bill by that time, they said I needed to contact them, not him. One excuse after another. They indicated he never did, which was a lie. Now since January I have been in touch with them. They always want something else. They were provided with a paid invoice from the mechanic. They indicated anyone could sign it and say it was paid. They wanted a "cash register" receipt who has those,,,the supermarket. So I suggested I get it notarized and my mechanic faxed that to them.on March 10 or 11. Now, they are claiming that they called my mechanic 7 times and he did not return their call. They needed to verify that he was paid. It is one excuse after another. That is a lie; because although the mechanic himself does not return calls ( he would get no work done) his wife does,,,religiously....
I am on the verge of eviction; have a heart condition and these people are going to give me another heart attack.
Do not, I repeat do no use this company or anyone associated with them under any circumstances at all...

When did you buy the warranty policy, before the Ch 11 bankruptcy or after the filing date? If before, then go to the US Bankruptcy site for MO and download the appropriate forms. It may be too late for you to claim anything since they filed so long ago. Search for the terms: US Fidelis Tier One Bankruptcy to get to the right site and to update yourself with current info.
