I had purchased a warranty thru Florida Motor Cars for $1100.00 The warranty was purchased on 11-12-06 and was for 3 years or 36000 miles. On Feb 18 the vegicle was totaled due to tornado. After the insurance company paid me for vehicle i had called Warranty America to cancel the policy , they referred me back to the dealer , of course he said he didnt have nothing to do with it after being sold. He had offered to get it cancelled for me and i also spoke with lady at Warranty America again and she said she would cancel policy. I was told i would get refund in 2-3 weeks and im not sure who told me this.
Well i called Warranty America om 4-23-08 , they sent me to another company and when i called them they said that company was out of business, then supervisor got on and said no it was mistake to call back to Warranty America. This time i Talked to Jessica Hills (i believe last name) she said that i would have to send in letter. Well i understand this is policy but if i was told this back in Feb i would have done this already. I not going to get on here like some and say im going to sue and all that stuff.
However i do feel like i have recieved the run around on something that could have been resolved very easy and i wouldnt be writing this. I see that the owner reads this site so he must care about his company and what consumers say. I didnt hesitate when i paid you for warranty and i expect same in egtting refund on warranty. Thanks
