A check in the amount of $108.31 I had wrtten, bounced in my account. As I was trying to fix
that problem with my bank and taken care of.
I was sent a letter from Attorneys at Law
office named JBC& ASSOCIATES, P.C.

Telling me I must pay the amount of $593.32
and that if I don't send the full payment! I
will be taken to court. Also I could be subjected to greater fines.

I was scared and sent them a check of $200. cause that was all I could pay, I thought they would send for the
rest and it's been 1 yr, and I have yet to hear
from them. I just found out I've been had!!!

Read between the lines ..JBC stands for JUST BEEN CONNED

As an avid reader to this web site, I have noticed several complaints on this JBC and Associates. What do you think JBC stands for? I figure since most complaints are stating the same thing that JBC stands for JUST BEEN CONNED.

I would suggest that if anyone gets a call from these dweebs to give them this web site and tell them to " read it and weep, because you aren't going to get a dime from me." Let them know that you are recording the conversation(whether you are or not)and usually, they hang up and usually don't call back.

Paid $200, why you feel you've "been had".

By the time most dishonored checks are assigned to JBC for collection, it has been 9 to 12 months since the check was written (well beyond the amount of time it takes to "fix a problem with your bank").

If you have not been contacted in a year, I fail to see what you want to happen here. It is entirely possible our client decided to accept the $200 as settlement.

I do not understand why you feel you've "been had".
