I was selling a 1990 convertible on craigslist and got an email from someone with the name of Denny Cole. He told me that he wanted to by the car for his cousing and that he lived in north carolina so he would send me a chk and payment to have the car towed to him.

 He also claimed to be deaf and when he called it was through a service that helped him speak to me through an operator.

 He started getting edgy after I told him he couldnt have the car until his check cleared and because its an out of state check it would take seven to ten days. Yesterday he called and asked if i could just send him the car. Today the bank told me the check is bogus. He sent a check from "citibank" and had it fedexed overnight to me.
