My husband received a letter in a blank envelope from Universal Rewards & Trust International Claims Department @ 285 Bay Street Toronto Ontario M5G-2N7 Canada Office Line 1-416-828-4042.

He was allegedly 1 of 32 persons to share a $4 million sweepstakes prize. He had been selected at random on Shoppers on Friday, 06/27/08.

The letter included a check for $4,875 drawn on National City Bank of the Midwest in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The checking account supposedly belonged to Universal REwards & Trust at 3121 W. Circle Drive in Lansing, Michigan 48906. The routing # listed was 072000915. The checking account # listed was 983689485. The check # was 25732.

The letter penned by Bryan McDonald (President) instructed him to call the telephone number & speak with Steve Collins (Claims/Disbursement Manager) within in 10 business days of the letter dated 08/04/08.

The letter alluded that he would need to send the tax payment of $2,875 via Western Union directly to the government tax agent and this first check was sent to expedite that process. He was given claim # CA-209-NC to identify himself...

There were too many red flags (i.e. the blank envelope, the letterhead & letter sent). So I decided rather than call the number, I would check it out on the net and found another report on your site sent 06/16/08.
