So, I discovered www.ripoffreport.com because of this blatantly unethical company, 86th Street Photo and Video.

Their tactics:
You make the online purchase.
They send you an email saying that they need you to call them to verfiy the address.
They upsell you by having you look at the prices on their website and then giving you an 'amazing' deal by taking 50% off. The issue is that the prices on all their accessories are 10X more expensive than going to your local photo store. If you are new to cameras, you won't realize the junk quality they are selling you.
Once you realize that you have been bait/switched, you try to contact them to cancel all the extra junk. Their email system doesn't allow them to receive emails, so you have to call them. You call them to cancel and they say, "Sorry, you camera has already shipped. But, don't worry, we have a 21-day guarantee." What they don't tell you is they also have a minimum 20% restocking fee. (By the way, I called them to cancel after having only ordered 30 minutes prior. How could it have shipped on UPS this quickly? I called UPS and they did not show any records of the shipment! 86 lied. The camera was still sitting in their warehouse!)

STAY AWAY FROM A SALES PERSON NAMED STEVE AND HIS SUPERVISOR, RACHEL. THEY ARE CROOKS! HOW CAN THEY LIVE WITH THEMSELVES?

How to get out of it:
BE OBNOXIOUS! You call them back and tell them that you are NOT going to accept the package and you've called your credit company to reverse charges. KEY: DO NOT SIGN FOR THE PACKAGE!!! UPS will simply return the package back to 86.

There was more underhanded tactics, but I think you get the idea. Stay away!!!!!!
