I fulfilled all the requirements (including some that required a cash output) to receive a Macy's $500 gift card. I got an e-mail stating that my card was due to be shipped April 4, 2008. Despite numerous e-mails and phone calls with mostly rude and uncaring customer service reps, I still never received the card. About 2 weeks ago, I got a letter saying all I had to do is make a $500 purchase of a Macy's gift card or anywhere else, submit the receipt and the redemption form enclosed and I would receive my gift card in a few weeks. This WAS NOT mentioned in the initial requirements and I am supposed to put out a large sum of money (which I don't have) and trust they will reimburse me. Of course they don't answer the phone no matter what time of the day I try. The reps "are busy at this time." They give a new e-mail address but you just get a generic reply and no answers. BEWARE of this SCAM. If anyone has had similar bad luck or knows how to get through to them please reply.
