Antivirus 2008 Unwelcome, intrusive popup that cannot be deleted Internet

1. Received popup add to scan my PC. On doing so, I was informed that I had to subscribe in order to delete the viruses.

2. I have tried more than 30 times to remove the popup, but as it does not appear in my list of programs, this is impossible.

3. There is no email address, just the phone number above which is in Spain.

This is not a rip off-just an annoyance

I would suggest activating your pop-up blocker. Most Internet tool bars have this functionality. While on a web-page, look under the Tools menu for Pop-Up Blocker. Make sure it is turned on.
