I ordered a "free trial" of Super Foods 12 with the explanation that I would pay for postage only. I received this product in a plastic envelope without a shipping notice, statement or any product information - just the bottle of pills. My account was duly debited for that amount by a company called "Bottom Two Investments". That is the first time I became aware of the company called "Bottom Two Investments". Today my account was debited for $74.45 for an additional shipment of their product.

On calling the company I was told that I had agreed to their terms by signing up for the "free Trial" if I did not cancel within 14 days. I was not aware of this stipulation or remember reading anything about this in the product information on the internet. The internet site seems to have changed - it looks completely different now. I would not have agreed to a purchase (with this stipulation) had I been aware of that.

When I spoke to a representative of the company today to complain of this charge I was told that I had agreed to this when I ordered the "free trial". My offer to return the product was met with a frosty "we do not accept returns". When asked for a credit of the $74.45 - it was met with a even frostier "we can not do that". I then asked to speak to manager and was told the same thing in a fairly rude manner. When I asked what kind of company I was dealing with - he hung up on me.

Needless to say - I did not get a confirmation number for my cancellation. When I called later in the day, speaking to a different representative, she was already familiar with my name. I was informed that my order had been cancelled, but I am ashamed to admit I got angry and forgot the reason for my phone call to them (to get a confirmation number). This time I hung up on them.

Needles to say - I will never again order anything over the Internet unless I know the company I am dealing with. It is companies like "Bottom Two Investments" that leave a bitter taste behind. Is the anything in a Name?
Thanks for letting me get this off my chest....
