In an Internet advertisement for an "Income opportunity" for a trial membeship for $1.95. Somewhere in obsure or fine print they indicated later that the trial membership must be cancelled by phone in 3 days. Then a monthly fee of $129.95 is charged until the customer finds it on their credit card and then it's too late. The company indicates that the monthly charge is non-refundable. I did give them the authority to charge my credit card for the trial 3 day membership, unaware that it had to be cancelled by phone. Then automatically they charge your credit card with the $129.95 fee before any questions have been asked or any type of business conducted relating to this 3 day trial membership. As I read the infomation that was given to me on line about the results, I found them to be of the nature of "too good to be true" and just deleted the web site. It was only when I recieved my monthly credit card statement did I find out that I had been charged $129.95. I have no intentions at all of using this company for anything and now I'm out this fairly significate amount of money. The company refuses to refund, they did cancel my membership, big deal, I didn't even know I had a membership!! This is exactly the type of con-man operations that scam individuals out of probably thousands of dollars a year and it appears that nothing can be done, legally , to stop this operation. I want everyone to know just what this company is and to stay away from conducting any type deals.
