I am a former employee (Customer Service) of Adult Friend Finder (aka: Fast Cupid, ALT.com, Big Church, Bondage.com, Various, Inc. Medley Aquisition, etc.) I was shown "Rip off report" by a co-worker who was, also quite upset about the workplace ("Sweatshop") conditions we, in customer service in particular, experienced.
On "Rip Off Report.com" it has been, previously reported:
"DESPITE ANDREW CONRU MAKING OVER $150 MILLION DOLLARS HE CUTS HIS EMPLOYEES BONUSES AND HAS THEM WORK IN SWEATSHOP CONDITIONS." This is absolutely TRUE.
His Director of Human Resources, (aka: Andrew Conru's "Right arm") is NATALIE CEDENO. She is in charge of the companies personnel, operations, and is responsible for how the employees are treated-etc. On a company profile Ms. Cedeno states she: "Was AN INTERROGATOR IN DESERT STORM." (Which would describe her cruel, callous, strong arm handling of Friend Finder employees.) It is difficult to believe someone who claims to have been in the Armed Services is so obese (approximately 300 lbs) treats innumerable employees as "The enemy" and, has NO Human Resources college training.
Ms. Cedeno is a "With me or against me" mentality and has consistently broken employee's rights with her threats of "Discipline" (Including intimidation and verbal threats) and "Dismissal" (For reporting fraudulent company policy, hostile work conditions-etc.)
The customer service department works 24x7. About two months ago everyone received an email (from Cedeno) saying that there "HAS BEEN AN OUTBREAK OF SCABIES. and that "The carpets will be cleaned." They never were cleaned (only vacuumed.) The employees are responsible for cleaning their own desks (and a co-worker finally cleaned out the refrigerator.) There is/was rotten food in the refigerator, which permiates through the department, and months/years old GARBAGE between the desks and often flowing out of the trash cans. In the (company) bathroom, there were numerous times there was NOT even any toilet paper or (coffee) paper cups provided. They force people to work the Holidays and, "Mandatory overtime". Besides myself, there are many employees who complained because they WERE NOT PAID for the hours they worked. Being shorted 5-8-or more hours of pay.
Anyone who may be interested in working for this company--unless you are a masochist, DON'T APPLY!--the law will (hopefully) catch up with them one day. Do yourself a favor; think twice about working at that company. They are the most unethical company I have ever worked for.
