My fiance and i were looking for an English Bulldog Puppy and found one. The puppy was free and was only to cost us $100 dollars to transport. They appeared to be reasonable people, we were wrong.

Soon after emailing the seller, we soon heard from the elegid "transport company". Something wasn't right but they assured us all would be fine. We payed the first $100 dollars.

We were told our puppy would arrive at 12 PM the following day. Soon after we were notified we had to make a security deposit for insurance on the puppy during transport of $350. We paid and were told our puppy would arrive at 8 AM the next morning.

The next morning, no puppy but an email stating that the puppy was being held at customs awaiting needed vaccines to continue the journey. They then proceeded to list additional charges for transportation adding up to $750. At that point i said this is unbelievable something is going on.

So i contacted the seller and she proceeded to try to get me to pay the extra money but i declined stating that this was a scam and i was not loosing any more money. No response back from the seller. A phone call came from the transport company and we told them we were not paying and that we were going to report them and even sue them for our money to be returned and they hung up on us and will not answer any calls or emails.

I am making this report so that noone else falls victim to this like my fiance and i did. Not only am i out $450 but i also have lost some dignity knowing i fell victim to an online scam. So please don"t let this happen to you and/or your family
