We received a letter with an enclosed check. What tipped us off was the T-Mobile USA logo on the check. No where in the letter was T-Mobile mentioned. The amount of the check was $ 4,700.00 and the letter stated that the purpose of this check is for the payment of Canadian Non-Resident Government Service Tax (GST).

Ofcourse we were excited as both my husband and I are currently out of work and with the unemployment at an all time high we are in financial distress.

However, I am so thankful my husband spends so much time on the internet researching things just like this scam.

I called T-Mobile and gave all the information included on the letter as well as the check number and the routing number on the bottom of the check, and the amount. They are going to forward it to their legal department and start an investigation.

Praise God for your website. I hate that in this day and time there are so many vultures out there preying on individuals in this most difficult time.

I know God will keep His promise and have His vengence on these individuals. I will continue to pray for their souls.

If a Joyce Hall with a very strong english accent calls you stating that you have won a lottery, hang up or tell her what I told her, nothing is free, there is always a cost to the individual. She hung up on me. Then we received this letter in the mail.

I will tell others about this website and will continue to post such scams here and send e-lerts ot my family and friends.
